Postcards from Pyongyang found its way into the city it was born in.
In 2025, the project was invited to join the renowned “Fumes and Perfumes” exhibition at Stuttgart’s Züblin car park – a place where concrete turns into canvas and photography becomes an urban ritual.
For its 12th edition, curated by Frank Bayh & Steff Ochs, Peter Franck, Bernd Kammerer, and Yves Noir, Postcards from Pyongyang appeared alongside works by artists such as Monica Menez.
To be part of this context is more than recognition: it is a reminder that a project created in Stuttgart can resonate far beyond its borders, connecting the streets of the West with the hidden alleys of Pyongyang.
